What I call the lynchpin to all the issues we face is the current genocide taking place in Gaza, and the massacres that are likely to follow in the West Bank.
What has the whole world been protesting these last nineteen months, by the millions? –
It hasn’t been for a woman’s right to choose, or for a green economy, for the immigration, against mass incarceration and police violence, or for legitimate elections, as important as those things are.
No. It’s been about one thing and one thing only – the genocide being carried out by zionists and their collaborators.
This one issue is what connects every kind of corruption and disinformation in our country;
It connects our militarism and impunity, and the fact that there is no functioning international law;
It connects corporate media and war crimes, the suppression of free speech, and our purchased political class, and their new allies, the former progressives who have sold their souls, without shame.
It connects our aspirations here, with those worldwide, and for this reason, I would not focus on anything else, as an activist, as a person who values human rights.
I would hope that this continues to be protested against, this history taught, the context understood, and the conviction strengthened among young and older people to do what is right.
What happens when you pull out a lynch-pin? The whole edifice falls. Everything we want to defeat crumbles, and everything we want to secure for ourselves and for future generations becomes possible.
So, let the democrats and the vile, complicit media pretend there isn’t a genocide going on.
Oh, Watch how the news ignores the one vital issue of our day. They are gaslighting us.
Watch how even getting close to the truth of it enrages the zionists, their allies and spokespeople. By their reaction, you can tell you’re on to something.
Watch how every national campaign is sanitized, and how even the language of genocide is expressly forbidden.
Let them get up there and pretend this isn’t an urgent matter to millions in this country and around the world, especially those under 30;
Hold show trials and get college presidents fired, withhold funds from universities, dictate their curriculum, ban protests;
Revoke visas, ban foreign students, arrest and deport citizens, and those foreign born who are in this country legally;
ignore the ICC, and then mock international law,all that.
It all seems to be a totally over the top, neurotic reaction, right? but it’s completely understandable, when you think about it.
All they are doing now tells us they know they have already lost, and they know it, hence their fear, hence their aggression; For this very reason they are emptying out every trick, every dollar, every threat, every coercion they can, they are using every deception, and engaging today, right now in every act of cruelty to try to stop what they know is their inevitable end.
The genocide taking place in Gaza with the whole world watching is the key in 2025 to their entire fragile system, so the ruling class is fighting opposition to it with everything they have.
Race and class and political corruption, self determination, human rights and the world beyond our borders and our one home all together meet just here.

Note: This is why the appearance on the New York political scene of Zohran Mamdani is so significant now. He represents the consciousness of those who have opposed the indiscriminate killing of Palestinian people the last 19 months.
He has said he would arrest the war criminal Netanyahu, if he ever so much as set foot in New York. He is neither democrat, or republican, and he is courageously calling out both as being owned by AIPAC and the billionaire class; he is a threat to everything antidemocratic they stand for.
It’s about time we had someone like this stand up. It was inevitable.
